DrawSplatTM Open Whiteboard

Pricing

DrawSplatTM is free. Everything.

Every teacher, every student, every classroom, campus, and district uses DrawSplatTM at no cost. The software, the Apps Script backend, the MySQL deployment, the compliance features, the Community board — all free under AGPL-3.0-or-later. If it helped your day, buy the developer a cup of coffee. If your district needs hands-on help, you can hire that as a separate service.

DrawSplatTM is free for everyone — teachers, students, campuses, and districts. Optional support and professional learning available.

Why is it free?

DrawSplatTM is built by an educator for educators. Subscriptions and per-seat licensing keep great tools out of underfunded classrooms. The software has no marginal cost to ship one more user, so it doesn't. If your district has the budget and wants professional learning, that's where we charge — not for software access.

Self-hosted or hosted?

You can use drawsplat.org directly, or clone the repository and host it on your own GitHub Pages, Cloudflare Pages, or district servers. The optional Apps Script and MySQL backends are also free; you bring your own Google Workspace or database hosting.

What "as-is" still means

The free download covers the current build as provided. Bugs get fixed when the developer has time. Districts that need a guaranteed response time, custom feature work, or formal training contracts should engage the paid Support & PD services above.
